• When you become a customer: account details, your business information, the quotes and customer details you create, and communications with us.

• Analytics: with your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location. This uses cookies and only runs after you accept via our cookie banner.
• Technical data: basic server/security information such as IP address, needed to deliver and protect the site.

Payment information

When customers pay through AskBam, payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card details — these are handled by Stripe as a payment processor.

3. How and why we use your data

• To operate the waitlist and let you know when AskBam is available — based on your consent.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide support — based on our legitimate interests in helping users.
• To provide the AskBam service, create quotes and process payments — based on performance of our contract with you.

We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run AskBam, including: Netlify (website hosting), Google Analytics (site analytics), Stripe (payment processing), and email/communication tools we use to contact you. Each processes data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may also disclose data where required by law.

Some of our providers (such as Google and Stripe) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved transfer mechanisms to keep your data protected.
